By the time the 2017 crash hit, I was nearly wiped out. Later, Binance entered the scene, and I continued trading there. But I was also very busy with my studies. I ended up putting all my funds into a token I liked on Binance and deleted the app. Months later, when I reopened my account, I found that the token had been delisted yet another blow. I sold whatever was left, bought a phone, and decided to leave crypto behind.
After stepping away, I missed some major bull runs, but I didn’t care because I had already walked away. Still, there was always this feeling of something missing inside me, a thought trying to pull me back in. I questioned whether this was simply a desire for easy money. But I realized it wasn’t easy for me at all, I couldn’t make money effortlessly. Back when I knew nothing, I had money (from my allowance); but when I knew a lot, I had no money.
