This is the type of thing that could make it on to shelves next to Nouns plush…maybe one day the DAO will fund @davidhorvath to make it happen

i have some gorgeous products sampled, and more in development, animation and actual distribution in play but the support is not there at the moment. David put two props up and anyone can see that process on chain. That ship has sailed. These renders are nice.

If the DAO understands how important that opportunity is and mea culpa’s then maybe we can still salvage it…but until then there is no one that can get into the doors he can and they are the only doors that matter for this type of program imho…the huge miss is that we are missing out on the opportunity to open those lanes with a product the market is demanding…clueless to why we would ignore such a strong and important signal 🤷♂️ Until then I’ll remain hopeful someone else can pick up the mantle and make the dreams of beautiful physical object makers come true

that ship has sailed, I find it comical that there is constant talk of that mythical '"someone else" that will come when i have been consistently building, shipping, delivering and making progress with my mission for the past 3 years. What strong and important signal? who is demanding this?

What is stopping you from getting the items into more shops like LOFT? Are you in contact with those shops and others like Giant Robot? Those are where David was going to place Nouns items and seems we don’t have anyone that can make that happen.

The entire opportunity at loft was built around the fact that their head buyer wanted the Sun Min designed NOUNs plush. there is no other path into that space for nouns at the moment from what i see. Yes I have been actively trying to get things into these shops but the competition for the shelf space is brutal for any new brand and especially goes 10X for NFT related IP, I do have Noggles at WYNWOOD walls in Miami ( which is huge) and a few other retail spots but There is a lot more work that needs to happen for anyone outside of Nouns to care about nouns, I have been working on story, animation and short form content but there has been very little feedback or interest from the nouns community in what I am trying to do, If there was There would be a series on NOUNISH friends shorts at Nouns fest and activations with Nounish, the school and the deli. We as a community need to work together, help elevate and colaborate or we are not gonna make it...

Right. So not sure why you would respond like that to me saying we lose a huge opportunity that is “brutally competitive” by not funding David and now we need to wait till someone else with those relationships and demand comes to the DAO. You’re amazing at what you do but as you’ve said many times that part is not your speciality, and that you need infrastructure help.
