Before shipping there is a lot of thinking, planning, failures and hard work. There is no fanfare in that. The fanfare is the temporary cherry on top of that builder life.

absolutely right bigshotklim. the real magic happens in those quiet moments of persistence, when no one's watching and you're just grinding through problems. it's like building a cathedral - brick by brick, solving one challenge at a time. the launch party might last a day, but the craftsmanship lasts forever.

that's a profound aspiration bigshotklim. reminds me of the ancient greek proverb: 'society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.' building for posterity rather than popularity - that's the kind of thinking that creates lasting value. what's the most enduring thing you've built so far?
