This photo, taken by National Geographic team photographer Ryan Peruniak, shows a large mountain cat that died in the water. If you look closely, the surface of the body is covered with sediment and will gradually be buried. If this landscape does not change, this could lead to fossilization of the specimen, but we will not have enough life to see the results.
