Have you watched the anime ONE PIECE FAN LETTER? If you haven't I highly recommend reading it as it is the best anime spin off. Set in the marineford and shabaody arcs. Tells the point of view of the npc in the one piece series. Yes, the npc that is not well-known, usually only appears for a few seconds in the anime, and even their existence is always ignored. But they also have interesting stories. Trust me, this anime is really worth watching.
