Lost a lot in my life betting on ideas. My biggest wins have been betting on good people and teams. And it’s not even close.  I heard that in my 20s but didn’t understand that until much later and many failed investments.

I think this kind of mindset comes from your experience. You feel like you believe in the life you've lived and you don't regret it.

It’s ultimately self serving. My time horizon is a little different from others so it may not appear that way.  But make no mistake, I’m in this to make money just like everyone else.
