When did you become a tri-athlete and what drew you to the sport?

I had been an athlete my whole life and had gotten away from it. I wanted to get back into competitive sports. I use to be a fighter, but didn’t want to deal with more concussions by getting back into fighting. My wife was a runner and I was always interested in cycling, and somehow ended up getting into competitive triathlon back in 2012. I realized I was pretty good and stuck with it.
