It started with one episode with Outer Banks, something to pass the time. But before I knew it, I was six hours deep, living through John B like  I was him. The world outside my screen faded away as the plot twisted and turned, gripping me on.

By the finale, I sat there sad and stunned, the credits rolling, my heart pounding like I’d just run a marathon. It was more than a show, a world I never wanted to leave.

But as I turned off the TV, I smiled to myself. And I never looked back.
