Over the next 2 years, the familiar "Connect Wallet" affordance will disappear from most DApps except DeFi. Crypto onboarding will occur through simple, familiar mechanisms. No pop-ups, no hashes, no transactions, no fees. Users won't even know they're using crypto.

I’d argue that wallet sign-in is better ux than email / password. I think it will look more like apple passkey than email/password. Embedded wallets at a device level perhaps?
