If Trump loses, it's because he agreed to a June debate instead of waiting until September after the conventions.

Ok agreed, but jd is absolutely a close second, like I get the whole coastal elite fascination with him, but lmfao in a lot of the south it absolutely doesn't play

David Plouffe (working for Harris now) gave an interesting talk a few years ago that talked about double hater voters. They broke for Trump in 2016 and Biden in 2020. They were clearly leaning Trump in 2024 until Biden withdrew, and now leaning Harris. Harris is not popular. But compared to Trump, very well could be.

I agree that tradionally vp vote doesn't matter. The problem is vance is going to fire up the democrats to vote more than he's going to fire up the moderate Republicans that trump needs to support him. And in fact vance plus trumps rhetoric more than likely hurts them with moderates who were on the fence. I am currently living in Mike Johnsons district in a town of 100 people that trump will probably easily win. The difference is the excitement isn't here like it was in 2016 and 2020(was here both times) i don't see the signs i don't hear people talking about it, it's nothing like the previous times he's ran
