Hey y’all, I’m a visiting neighbor from Camp Android. I never understood why your apps don’t automatically extend to the screen width on iOS for iPad. Not even the keyboard extends! Android apps adjust just fine. This is my biggest complaint about iOS vs Android.

And it’s actually pretty simple to achieve in Swift and SwiftUI, so it’s mostly and oversight or even an ignorance when people who make iOS and iPadOS apps don’t do it.

This is actually one of the benefits of using React Native (like Warpcast does), you can implement responsive layouts, and even use Tailwind implementations on RN to do it. I‘m nobody’s idea of a great designer but I’ve done it successfully.
