If you never had the Halo LAN experience, you missed out on a core coming of age Americana story; the only one Microsoft was actually somewhat responsible for that I know of

I never had the OG Xbox either but went to friends houses to play, and it was the only reason I’d have gotten an OG Xbox if I could’ve nabbed one back then: Halo

The good news is there may be a reboot coming next year on the unreal engine
