when you don’t understand how a human you were once closer to arrived at certain beliefs in their life one way to look at it is, the world is one constantly insanely accelerating oddball whackfest 𝑛 number of said events being reported on in one's lifetime can cause any numerous mass anxieties & superstitions

Superstition is wild in that way... at work, we do migrations and everyone superstitiously swears that traffic will tank, but when it doesn't, no one celebrates for fear of jinxing it. I argue nonstop that what will happen will happen regardless of what we say or *think*
