i like capitalism > communism.

personally, i grew up with ultra progressive parents and i thought it was a nightmare. so in my experience, living with a capitalistic mindset has only benefited me where as all the people i shared with along the way are nowhere to be seen. most are still in the same positions or worse. so other than a chip on my shoulder, it only held me back. but at least I value exchange better now

sad thing is they'd be the first to demand handouts just for existing while majority of the rest of the world is suffering
