And to note the most rebellious place now is to not give your kids a phone because that simply fast tracks them to NPC mode

yeah, understandable in many situations but it’s damn telling when you hear even the billionaires aren’t giving their babies phones or iPads these days

Being a divorced household the phone for her was rather inevitable. I took a similar approach though and let her know none of us, especially adults, have this thing figured out and it’s a problem, but we also need it. I try and emphasize it’s a tool until but like a lot of tools it can hurt you if not careful
