The whole "we need to have new, inspired elites" thing felt like a flat platitude to me, but the idea that Truth is Beauty and vice versa rocks

I also just watched "The Square" (won palme d'or in 2017) which is a great satire on contemporary art and the culture surrounding it. 

highly recommend just for the insane and infamous performance art scene in the middle of the movie
