I’ve read and enjoyed 2 of his other books - Klara and the Sun and Never Let Me Go- so I expected this to have a tech or sci-fi angle. But it takes place long ago in a post Arthurian England. It was a delight to read and it makes you think. 10/10 - recommend it for sure 👍

He’s a great writer but never let me go was so sad I don’t want to read any more of his books. My favourite writer is Haruki Murakami, I love magical realism

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle left me spellbound. What are your top three Murakami?

That’s one of my favourite’s too! Others I’d recommend; 19Q4, Kafka on the Shore, Wild Sheep Chase but tbh I own all his books and I like them all
