trump wants to privatize the usps: how about this? would you opt-in to only ever receive digital mail in the future if you could?

Absolutely. 99.6% of the mail I get is junk mail. Save a tree.

my answer is no. It might not be the popular answer, but with digital mail you are generally bound to the retention policy of the sender. Itβs been an issue for medical bills, EOBs, and other paper forms in the past. Also, would hate to miss out on something that may get caught by spam mail.

Absolutely. My local hospital only sends appointments by mail and it drives me nuts. I'd rather only have parcels coming by mail, everything else can be digital.
