Will keep you posted as we get closer to launch to share more details around the exact composition. A common practice is to have it be marketcap weighted, so the largest tokens make up the largest portion of the index. There are other methods to make the index closer to "equal weight". All depends on what people want :)

The index (or DTF as we call them) would exist completely on-chain. An initial basket composition would be created, and token changes would be proposed and voted on. Upon a successful governance cycle, the DTF would add or remove the tokens based on the overall newly proposed composition. Governance methods can vary.
