The founders of NovaTech Eddie Petion and Cynthia Petion, as well as several other members of the firm, according to the SEC, organized a scheme that allowed to receive more than half a billion dollars from investors. The company worked as a multi-level marketing (MLM) and digital asset investment program from 2019 to 2023. Investors were lured to promises of high profits by investing in the cryptocurrency market.
