IPFS integrated into proposal media so we can have less broken future media on historical proposals.

I am currently working on https://www.nounish.media which takes files and uploads them to Arweave since ipfs is not a permanent solution. Open to nouns holders (as well as lils, gnars, and builder). Currently on testnet but not for much longer

this is awesome! i’m always confused why IPFS seems to be a lot more prevalent in onchain use cases while being impermanent, but maybe i’m missing something

If I could hazard a guess it would be due to the lower initial friction since you have to pay gas to upload to Arweave. Right now my api is covering it for testing but working on a contract to allow wallets to pay their own gas once I move off test net!
