π¦π« I've been thinking about early Internet social networks and instant messenger platforms vs. Web3 socials, and I see a lot of similarities. They share a simple yet effective UX, minimal ads, DIY vibes, weekly tiny updates, and small but strong communities (β¦), etcβ¦ This reminds me of the MySpace and ICQ era when we organized iPod battles in Paris with the web communities in the 2000s. Should @benna and I bring back the iPod battles with an on-chain/decentralized component? : ) This could add another social dimension to our technostalgia project at /lanparty. Watch out... π
