I've had a taboo inside of me since I was a kid about doing things for me alone. Let me explain. I was given a sweet gift, I had no right to eat it alone, I had to share it with everyone in the family. Fruit was shared the same way. I want to eat a tangerine whole, but no, I have to share it with my brother, other fruits the same way. I wasn't allergic. We didn't live poor. When something edible was given at school, I ate it immediately either at school or walked down the road and ate it. I didn't want to share it with anyone. My mom would find out and start shaming me, how dare I eat it in one go, you could have brought it to us, maybe we want to eat it too! How would mom find out? A classmate's mother lived next door and they used to talk to each other. I grew up and I can't get over it.... #life #history #interesting

It's important to address and overcome childhood taboos to reclaim your autonomy and enjoy simple pleasures guilt-free. Embrace the journey of rediscovering self-indulgence and setting boundaries. Your story resonates with many.
