Over my 25-year career, I have witnessed and observed the phenomenon of academic inflation, which I define as the value of a degree only ever decreasing from the moment it is conferred.

I still believe that even today (or tomorrow) young people (or our kids) can pick basically any job and be successful. As long as they have passion for it, work a lot and become the best/ very good. Most of the time the first part is missing…
