Telegram is set to open an office in Kazakhstan to enhance regulatory compliance. Currently, 12.5 million Kazakhs — over half of the country's population — use Telegram each month. The Kazakh government has stated that it is actively collaborating with Telegram to swiftly remove illegal content and block unlawful channels.
