how much should one agree to give as a % to someone who provided and introduction to a specific investor that led to a investment?

Is this something you’re negotiating before any work is done, or is it something being asked of you retroactively by the person who made the introduction?

If it’s just one intro, I’d decline. Not worth your time.

If they’re a full investment banker, providing end-to-end fundraising support, including multiple intros / shopping the deal, pitchdeck and valuation support, pitch practice, etc., 3-5% of amount raised.

beforehand as a condition for the introduction, the introduction wont be made until the agreement of a amount (assuming a investment) is signed
