I'm looking for someone who is working on a mechanism to prevent permanent digital reputation loss due to loss of seed / compromised wallet, etc.

This has been a long standing problem with key management. The three categories of solutions have been social recovery, biometrics and centralized cloud backup.

These all have one fatal flaw. Our best friends are not all technical or there forever, biometrics don’t allow for key rotations and/or are a public key.

And centralized cloud backups are centralized. I’m hopeful to see a proper solution take off someday, however this is where the market is today.
