Trying to have a take on $TRUMP but honestly got nothing. I don’t find it surprising or interesting. It’s not important and wont be more than a footnote on what will be a very exciting year in crypto.

I agree. I still expect it’ll find its way into books written a decade from now about the adoption of web3/crypto. 

It’s too sensationalist to not be remembered as a pivotal moment, even if in reality it’s a minor footnote.

Yes, airdrop would have been 100x better.

It’s still a significant additional cultural/media exposure point for the coming mainstream adopter who otherwise doesn’t think about crypto.

Maybe I’m too in it, but I just don’t see this mattering with adoption.

If he had done an airdrop to his tribe, then sure. But it seems like it was all insiders and degens who bought.
