For me: 
1. interoperable identity (social & commercial/financial)

2. decentralized telecommunications

3. gig economy facilitation

4. InvestmentDAOs

All with a heavy culture/arts orientation as social glue.

What do you mean by reputation systems? Do you see them as different from social on chain identity?

To me, on chain identity is the external expression of underlying reputation systems. 

Reputation systems = social shift

On chain identity = technological shift

I’m excited about what new equations are being developed to define what we culturally understand reputation to mean.

Thanks for clarifying. It sounds in the vein of decentralized social media (a la Farcaster). 

Am I on track, or are you viewing it differently from decentralized social?

Interesting. Can that reputation (theoretically) be extended outside the DAO? Put another way, does the social reputational score live on chain and can it be discoversble in other ecosystems?

For example, at talentDAO we built a publication platform where researchers acquire on chain reputation for contributing to peer review. In the traditional system, peer review has no recognizable merit. New reputation systems allow for new identities to then be recognized.
