If you find yourself spinning or ‘reframing’ a narrative, don’t. 

Go in a different direction. Why?

1. It’s a symptom of a deeper issue with the idea/business. One that will only get worse if you don’t address it head on.

2. It’s (likely) not who you were when you started out - and you’re compromising.

3. 99% of the people who’s perspective you actually care about, see through it. 

They may not say anything right away, but cracks are beginning to form in the trust you’ve built.
