Unpopular opinion(?): If there is a token involved, it probably won't be credibly neutral Token = investors who are financially motivated. They will choose the financial upside over the credibly neutral route

I'll pile on: credible neutrality is a wonderful theoretical aspiration to strive for. As long as humans are involved, it won't exist in pure form.

Agreed, but I do think that some internet protocol, e.g. tcp/ip, are more credibly neutral than crypto protocols with a token that think themselves as credibly neutral
