I want it to be true that “open eats closed…eventually,” but does it really?

Contrary Take: the definition of “closed” is just broadening. 

Incentives to not play nice with other chains will still lead to de-facto closed systems. 

E.g., under what circumstance would Farcaster become interoperable with Lens? (none, likely?)

if we believe that things AREN’T different this time, then it has to be true because that’s how the platform focused subset of low end disruption has always worked 👀
