This tournament has done more for hockey than anything and everything else combined in the last 9 years. The world is getting put on to the best sport in the world.

Yeah, the NHL did a fantastic job with this.

So this is an NHL tournament not an IIHF (international ice hockey Federation) tournament. Meaning only NHL players can play. 

The players are selected by the management for each country and the coach

And the reason there is only 4 teams is because Russia is banned and they wanted an even number, next tournament there should be 6-8 teams

couldn't agree more and its bringing so much new attention to the sport.

its crazy that it took so long to figure out that this olympic style format is what the people want instead of a boring all star game

do the fans choose the players for the teams? and why only these 4 countries and not more?
