2. Rich cultural heritage
3. Possesses abundant natural resources (fertile soil, rivers, lakes)
4. Historical trade routes (Trans-Saharan trade)
CULTURE
1. The Borno(kanuri) are known for the traditional architecture, islamic scholarship and rich cultural festivals.
2. The Fulani’s (Yobe, Bauchi, Adamawa) are known for their expertise in cattle rearing, traditional clothing (hijabi, babban riga) and islamic practices.
3. The Bauchi and Gombe are renowned for craftsmanship (leatherworks, pottery) traditional title systems and folklore.
4. The shuwa (Borno) are Excellent in distinctive Arabic inspired architecture, vibrant market and Arabic calligraphy.
