There’s something deeply grounding about working with clay. As my hands shape the soft earth, I lose myself in the rhythm of the wheel, in the way the clay molds under my fingers. Pottery is both art and utility—each piece I create serves a purpose, whether it’s a bowl to hold a warm soup or a vase to display the beauty of fresh flowers. I’ve always been drawn to creating pieces that are simple yet elegant, combining functionality with beauty. Recently, I’ve started experimenting with glazes, finding joy in the way they react with the texture of the clay, creating a beautiful, unpredictable finish. Every piece is unique, each bearing the imprint of my touch. The process is meditative, and the satisfaction of transforming raw materials into something both useful and beautiful never fades. Through pottery, I’ve found a deeper connection to the earth and to the creative spirit within me. 1 reply
