My bread n butter is contemporary indie rock. I've felt tempted to throw it all away and dive into: Kraut, '70s singer songwriters, folk, medieval music, 19th (?) and 20thc classical, hip hop (Way way more deeply), jazz, electronic and experimental "head" stuff

Nursery have been practising their lizard positions. They used their fingers in the air to create different shapes before using a crayon on paper. The children then listened to classical music (our music appreciation) and made marks whilst listening to the music.

A previously unknown piece of music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been uncovered. The 12-minute piece is called "Ganz kleine Nachtmusik" and was likely written when he was a teenager sometime in the mid-to late-1760s.

Someone I will never forget was the actual schizophrenic guy who listened to classical music at full volume, wore a cowboy hat, drove a lifted truck and would visit me at 4am with his laptop, show me pictures of google earth and claim google agents were actively watching him....

Great movie, so refreshing to see some cool cameos. Too bad Ian Mckellen ans Patrick Stewart couldn’t make it. Even TVA made more sense here than in Loki show. And Hugh is stil great Wolverine as ever.

Not giving a shit is where you need to be. Studying classical music as a kid in a small town taught me to not give a shit pretty early. It taught me to not be influenced by those unworthy of consideration. That lesson continues to serve me well in terms of independent drive.

A few days ago was the anniversary of Herbert von Karajan's passing, and I remember him with respect. Karajan, a legendary conductor, made a deep impact on classical music. His performance of Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 with the Berlin Philharmonic is a unique musical experience.
