Waitomo Cave is located on the Waitomo River in the Northern Islands of New Zealand. This cave has been known as one of the tourist attractions since 1880. Waitomo Cave is also known as the Cave of the Blue Stars. Inside the cave grows a kind of mushroom that emits blue light, and this mushroom can only be found on the islands of New Zealand and Australia.
