Angel Falls, Venezuela Angel Falls, with a total height of 979 meters, including a free fall of 807 meters, is the highest waterfall in the world. It flows from one of the largest flat mountains in Canaima National Park, located in southern Venezuela. The waterfall is known among the local Pemon people as "Devil's Mountain". Much of the water in the waterfall evaporates into mist before reaching the bottom.
