@base sees 4k new pairs hit Uniswap V2 pools daily—propelling it to potentially become the top trading volume layer2. This surge has every BASE builder buzzing with excitement. 

But it’s a déjà vu of BNBCHAIN ’s 2021 peak, where thousands of trading pairs launched, riddled with scams, rugs, fakes...harming users and long-term contributors. 

@jessepollak  Maybe it’s time to learn from history, incentivize projects and users committed to building on BASE, especially innovative projects with fair, transparent mechanisms.
