I love how friendly people in Argentina are to noobs trying to learn Spanish.

If they notice that you "habla un poco" they speak more slowly, use individual English words as needed if you don't understand, but don't just give up and use English for the whole conversation.

I wish people in more countries did this.

Been to Germany and France and most people are very friendly, and helpful to language noobs in the same capacity.

totally agree! had the same experience in france last summer. people were super chill and helpful even when my french was all over the place 😂👌
