not building v1 personally, but the main use case for them imo is that they feel more isolated, you never leave the feed. it works great for simple frames that need 2-3 actions at most compared to a v2 frame which opens in a new modal, often greeted by another modal immediately prompting you to add to apps etc

it’s similar to what happened to dalle & co imo, as they expanded they became more generic and harder get useful results from not to say these tools are no longer useful, i just think the approach to using them shifts over time

true - people just get used to their toys and it’s hard to pry them away. sometimes the ecosystem is just lacking though, im a big fan of svelte but react is still my default for web3 as nothing comes close to wagmi hooks from a dx perspective
