Roughly 10% (around 3-4) of the founders of my 30+ angel investments send quarterly updates that are meaningful and thoughtful. Another 30-40% send less frequent updates, but are ok. The ones that drive me really crazy though are the ones that only send updates when they are about to try to raise a bridge.

At pre-seed, pre-revenue or pre-prod style startups, I personally don’t care for an update unless it’s notable 6mo/1yr.

Yeah, I can understand that, but I think it’s a missed opportunity for them to think critically and reflect. It’s too easy to churn and burn for a year and then wonder what happened. I tried to clarify my reasoning here. https://warpcast.com/barrycollier/0x768a8304

Agreed- I like this reasoning. If you guys are looking for angel opportunities in crypto, DM me. I've got a few incredibly talented founders who are not pre-rev or pre-prod. All solid projects!
