one of my favorite writers/thinkers was Mary Shelley, the 19th century author who wrote Frankenstein in her book "The Last Man" she wrote: "There is but one solution to the intricate riddle of life; to improve ourselves, and contribute to the happiness of others" this one line shaped my philosophy on life & purpose

can’t go wrong when you always come back to “how is what I’m doing of service”

truly. being of service to others feels good reminds me of someone I came across who was talking about what he does when he's feeling down... "It is very difficult to feel both melancholy and useful at the same time. So when you’re down, start helping others." https://medium.com/p/4da6ef628e1a
