I haven't played one either. I am very curious about those Fishman pickups.

You should look into G&L guitars. Company started after Leo Fender sold the original Fender company and started designing custom stuff. They make an amazing telecaster mod.

Nice! Have never owned a fender but if I did I would go Tele for sure. Some real shredders out there play Teles (Gina Gleason, John5, etc)
