I was a bit surprised to learn that the block gaslimit & gas target were not fixed protocol parameters and can be tweaked by validators and execution clients.  Curious what others think of this proposal.

I was a bit surprised to learn that the block gaslimit & gas target were not fixed protocol parameters and can be tweaked by validators and execution clients.  Curious what others think of this proposal.

I think the gas limit hasn’t kept up with consumer hardware and can be easily increased 

I also think a raspberry pi running the basis of the worlds next generation financial system might not be something we limit ourselves to at this stage
