Astrophotography is my passion. Excited that I can share with the FC community and via my first @zora edition. Feel free to ask me any astro questions below. https://photos.smugmug.com/Nightscapes/i-d7BScX3/0/CFpMQ8VXtKHDwQNMthpF4ZZScFWs9XnsFbQ8BDZP3/XL/Milky%20way%20star%20selfie%2C%20Trona%20Pinnacles-XL.jpg

Are you using a rig to compensate for the earths movement or just railing these out at high iso and cleaning up in post?

The latter. Esp for the 50mm shots, I try to keep my shutter to about 6 seconds so I crank up the ISO to around 6400-10000. I'll usually stack a good 6-10 shots on a median smart object blend to help reduce the signal to noise ratio. A tracker seems awesome too, just never dug in.

Ahh yeah ok - I was gonna say, shooting at 50mm should really exacerbate the sky movement. My go to for astro was always like 16-35 or 24mm prime and even then had to be careful not to get movement.
