Is your career path linear or nonlinear?

Some people have careers that follow a straight line—each job is just a step toward a better role. For others, the path twists and turns, taking unexpected detours. As the world changes, so are career paths. There are a lot more people doing side gigs and starting small businesses. 

My own career path has been anything but traditional. I skipped college to run a pizza franchise and when that didn’t work out, I taught myself SEO. That led to a combination of side gigs, businesses, and now a more traditional career. My struggles with addiction made this journey more difficult but also taught me invaluable skills that I use everyday. 

How has your career path shaped you? Has it been a straightforward journey, or has it taken a few unexpected turns along the way? What lessons have you learned?

My 9-5 has been as linear as it gets. The disruptor is my photography side gig mixed with crypto that has the potential to replace hopefully one day

Hell yea, I think that’s a lot of people’s dreams with their side gigs, mine included.
