In 2024, spot trading on CEX saw a huge 139% boost, while derivatives surged 91%. However, spot trading's market share fell from 49% to 39%, with derivatives slipping from 50% to 38%. Bybit jumped to second in spot trading, and OKX held firm in the second spot for contracts.
