Lidl can be a hit and miss, but their spirits hit way above the price.

Agreed. However, I mostly found better quality items there than the opposite. My main criticism is that often when you buy something there, it never comes back, ever.

I had a bad experience with some of their electric items (mini vacuum and such). Can't remember the brand name.

But that's on me. Never cheap out on those.

Their tools are also not the best quality. But then again, much cheaper than Bosch or Dewalt.
