The tl;dr is this: I right-click-saved my X PFP, which is a modern depiction of the legend Tommie Smith by John Dominis. Unable to track down the artist, it’s time to start using an NFT by one of my favorite artists

ah that happend to me as well while adding from phone. try desktop. worked for me.

Desktop app? That’s how I did it. Still doesn’t work. Doh!

Which browser are you using? Try changing the extension of your gif to PNG before uploading

I tried the png trick but it didn’t take

Ahh that's weird. I've read of others having similar issues, fwiw I was able to upload via Firefox on a PC
